Psychotherapy
I believe that you have the answers to your questions and problems within yourself. My role as a therapist is to help you find those answers. You are the expert of your life and your role as a client is to help me understand your perspectives and experiences.
I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques along with humanistic approaches, which means that the questions I ask incorporate your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. I am here to guide you along the way without judgment. I also believe in reconnecting the mind and body. At times, I will may ask you where in your body you experience an emotion or how your body feels when talking about an experience.
I provide a safe space for you to process your experiences and emotions. I may provide suggestions or make recommendations for you to try, however, I believe that it is up to you to determine what works best for you.
